School Bank

school bank 2016

Sixth form pupils are operating the school bank in conjunction with the Bank of Ireland.  This is available for all pupils.  Students in year 8 and 9 are encouraged to update their savings accounts from primary school.

The bank provides students with the opportunity to save regularly and the use of their own cash card allows them to take responsibility for their own finances.  Alternatively, parents can arrange to save using a standing order, and pupils will then receive a 4GB memory pen and a £10 gift voucher.

Year 14 pupils are also encouraged to avail of the 3rd level Student Account, which allows instant safe access to funds at home and abroad, on-line purchases, student credit card, online banking and interest- free overdraft facility.  This will make transition to 3rd level education a little easier.

When a target number of accounts have been opened, each account holder will receive a free ticket and bus travel to an Ulster Rugby match at Ravenhill.

Students can call in to collect an application form either from Mrs Frew or members of the bank team.  The bank will operate every Wednesday at lunchtime in Room 3 from 1.15-1.35pm.  Come along and discuss your options with Catherine and the team.
