Irish Hockey Trials

U18 Irish Girls – Trialists   Following on from the recent U18 Interprovincial Tournament in which Ulster won every match to win the tournament and with Tori Hastings scoring, Irish Coach Graeme Francey has announced a selection of athletes for trials for the Irish U18 Girls squad.

Ulster U15 Talent Development Programme

  Ulster Hockey invited 220 girls from right across Ulster to attend U15 Talent Assessment trials in Belfast on the 27 September 2014. The girls were tested over 2 hours and the standard was extremely high, all six players from the Rainey who attended performed extremely well.

Under 16 and Under 18 Girls Interprovincial Series

  Many congratulations to Tori Hastings and Lauren Mulholland of Rainey Endowed School, who have been picked to represent Ulster in the Under 16 and Under 18 Girls Interprovincial Series which will take place this weekend at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club, Hillsborough from Friday 17th October to Sunday 19th October.

        Congratulations to Erin Mulholland, Form 5, who has just returned from International duty for the Northern Ireland U16 Team. The girls  played Wales, away, winning all their matches. Form 2 Derry & Antrim Hockey Tournament

The Rainey Endowed Form 2 girls travelled to Limavady Grammar on the 6 Oct 2011, to play in this annual tournament. The weather conditions were appalling with torrential rain, lighting and hailstones but the girls were not put off, hoping to well, as Rainey are the holders of this trophy for the past two years.
