#raineyrugby Results – Saturday 23 September v @foylecollege & @CampbellCollege

Rainey ES 1st XV 47 Foyle College 1st XV 0 (HT 19 0). Rainey dominated the 1st half scoring tries from Karl Warner, Patrick McGowan and Harry Evans. Karl Warner also kicked 2 conversions. Foyle’s defence was extremely gutsy. In the 2nd half Rainey scored an opening try from Ciaran Doyle. Rainey then made a number of changes. Jacob McGookin and the impressive Ross Speers scored on their first debuts. Karl Warner scored his 2nd try and kicked 4 conversions to give Rainey a sound victory.

Rainey ES 2nd XV defeated Foyle College 2nd XV 75-0. The Rainey try scorers were, Aidan McDonald 3 tries, Michael McIvor-New 2 tries, Ross Speers 2 tries, Marc Seffen 1 try, Shea McElhone 1 try, Ben Barfoot 1 try and Callum Donnelly 1 try. Sam Hardy kicked 7 conversions and Michael McIvor-New kicked 3 conversions.

Rainey ES U16s defeated Campbell College 4th XV 34-17. Abban McCloy scored 4 tries and Seb Hastings scored 2 tries. Joshua Johnston kicked 2 conversions.
U13s lost 7-30 to Foyle with a try from Sam Lennox. Mikey Lee Kelly kicked the conversion.

U14s lost 19-30 to Foyle.
Ben Brown scored two tries and Andrew Stewart scored one try. Two conversions from Louis Regan.
