Although there are no games on Saturday 24th Rainey sides were involved in a number of mid week games.
It is encouraging to report that all 5 games were victories.
On Monday former pupil Steven McGinnis returned with Trent College who were on tour from Nottingham. They played Rainey U13s and U14s. Rainey U13s returned to winning ways winning 52 14 with tries from Matthew Dripps (2), Leon Martin (2), Matthew Gibson, Tom Allingham, Anton Bell and Mark Kissick. Daniel Barfoot kicked 6 conversions.
The U14s continued with there good form winning 38 15 with tries from Jonathan Davis (2), Ross Speers (2), Oisin Neeson and Abban McCloy. Ross Speers kicked 4 conversions.
On Tuesday the Medallion played Limavady GS and recorded another win with a 25 5 victory. The try scorers were Jack Bresland (2), Ciaran Doyle (2) and Karl Warner.
On Friday night the 1st XV and 2nd XV also played Limavady GS. The 2nd XV notched up another win by 20 7. The try scorers were Gregory Conway (2), Adam Thornton and Todd Smyth.
The 1st XV made it a clean sweep with a 32 0 win over Limavady GS. The try scorers were Richard Winder, Cameron Stewart, Lorcan Quinn, Neal Hastings and Matthew Smyth. Lorcan Quinn kicked 2 conversions and 1 penalty. This win makes it 5 wins in a row for the 1st XV. Well done all coaches and players and enjoy your mid term break.
