Danske Bank Ulster School’s Cup – RSA 10 RES 12 (HT 3 5). 
Playing into a strong wind Rainey went on the attack and good tackling prevented a couple of tries. Armagh then used the wind cleverly but could not get the ball in a good attacking position. Lorcan Quinn was unsuccessful with a penalty. Then after a number of close scores Anton Lupari forced his way over the line. Lorcan Quinn missed the conversion. Armagh scored almost straight from the kick off when Rainey were penalised. The score was now 3 5. 
Rainey pressed with the half drawing to a close and were unlucky not to score when the ball was spilled over the line. Rainey started the second half on the attack with clever kicking from Lorcan Quinn. However, after a number of daft penalties from the visitors Armagh found themselves on the Rainey line. They drove over to get a converted try to give them a 10 5 lead. 
Rainey threw a lot at the Armagh line but it took a while to break them down. Eventually Neal Hastings crashed over and Lorcan Quinn showed a cool head to convert. Score now 10 12. 
Armagh tried to get back in the game but Rainey controlled until the final whistle. Nervey performance from Rainey and a gutsy performance from Armagh.
