RES 13 Regent 13 (HT 6 13). Rainey opened the scoring with a Lorcan Quinn penalty. Regent responded with 2 unconverted tries to lead 3 10. Lorcan Quinn then kicked a penalty to make it 6 10. On the stroke of halftime Regent kicked a penalty to make it 6 13. Rainey started the 2nd half with more purpose and scored a converted try by Lorcan Quinn. The score was now 13 13. Rainey suffered a number of key injuries to the experienced trio of captain Andrew Brown, Cameron Stewart and Lorcan Quinn. They reshuffled and went close on a couple of occasions. Regent also had chances but both defences dominated. Game finished 13 13.
