Meadowbank Sports Arena car park is the venue for what is believed to be Magherafelt’s first drive in movie! The event which is being organised by Rainey School Rugby Fund Raising Committee is taking place on Saturday 21 November. Sizzlers outside catering are providing a range of hot food and snacks on the evening for what promises to be a very popular night out. The movie on the big screen will be the classic Pirates of the Caribbean. Joint Chairman of the Fundraising Committee Alistair Mc Gowan commented “We hope this will be a really good family night out! I don’t remember a drive in movie in the town so this is a bit of a novelty”.

Head of Rugby at the Rainey School Chris Campbell said “The Fund Raising Committee are doing fantastic work in helping to support the development of rugby at the school. I would encourage all current and former pupils, friends and family to support the movie. Having Sizzlers Outside Catering support us with hot food and snacks on the evening is a great boost which will hopefully add to the occasion”

Tickets for the movie are priced at £20 per car regardless of passenger numbers, they can obtained from the school office. Maximum capacity is 100 cars so buy your ticket ASAP. Carpark opens 6pm, movie starts at 7.30pm
