Mock Elections
Year 8 classes recently took part in mock elections as they have been studying the contenders for the English throne in 1066. In groups they produced posters, leaflets, fliers and speeches in support of their chosen contender’s election campaign.
The election day itself involved much passionate debate and the announcement of the results, in each of the different classes, led to enthusiastic celebrations.
