Mr C E T Flanagan Principal 1993-2002

It is with great sadness that the Rainey Community has learnt of the death of former Principal, Mr C E T Flanagan (Terry).

Mr Flanagan was Principal of the Rainey from 1993 until his retirement in 2002. He oversaw the expansion of the curriculum and the improvement of the School’s buildings & facilities.

Mr Flanagan made a number of return visits to the Rainey since his retirement. He attended a number of the School’s Tercentenary celebrations in 2013 and more recently the opening of the Sports Hall in 2017.

The whole School community sends its condolences to Mrs Flanagan and the family circle.
