#raineyrugby Results – Saturday 14 October 2017 v Strabane Academy.
A Rainey ES Select XV defeated Strabane Academy 1st XV 28 0 (HT 14 0). First half tries from Adam Thornton and a lovely individual effort from Annan McCloy together with 2 Sam Hardy conversions gave Rainey a 14 0 half time lead. With Rainey making many changes in the 2nd half they went on to score 2 further tries by Gregory Conway and Michael McIvor-New. Sam Hardy kicked both conversions to give Rainey victory against a very committed Strabane team.
The Medallion won 47 0 with tries from Ryan Brown (2), Peter McGinley (2), Sam Clarke, Matthew Carson and James Mawhinney. Daniel Barfoot kicked 6 conversions.
The U14s won 34-13 with tries from
Calum nugent (5) and
Ben McCrystal.
Louis Regan and
Dylan Wilson each kicked a conversion.
