Senior regional Irish training sessions invite for Rachel

Graham Shaw, the National Head Coach for Irish Hockey Senior Women, has selected players to attend Senior regional Irish training sessions.

After watching the Inter Provincial series in Dublin and discussions with Steven Arbuthnot the Irish U18 Coach, Rachel Burns of the Rainey Endowed School has been invited to attend these sessions in Belfast during February and March.

With 2016 being a non Olympic year for the Irish women’s side, Irish Hockey has opened up senior training to include Irish U18 players with a view of the next cycle for Tokyo 2020.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Rachel to train with the top players in Ireland based in Ulster.
