Education Minister, Peter Weir, visits Rainey Endowed

Education Minister, Peter Weir, today visited Rainey to view progress of the £4million investment project.
The work is being carried out under the School Enhancement Programme (SEP) which provides investment up to £4million to meet immediate and pressing needs in schools.
Speaking during the visit the Minister said: “I welcome the opportunity to visit the school today in order to view the progress on the works carried out to date. The project involves internal refurbishment of existing accommodation and the replacement of existing mobile classrooms with modular classroom units. It will also provide a new permanent physical education facility.
