Dear Parent/Guardian
I would like to draw your attention to the Education and Training Inspectorate Report at the Rainey Endowed School from 10-14 February 2014. This can be downloaded by clicking here and confirms our standing as a caring school, committed to academic excellence for the whole community.
We are also delighted to have been awarded in excess of £5m to provide 12 new classrooms; incorporating Maths, Religious Studies, Drama, Art, Science, a new Sports block with comprehensive refurbishment of toilet facilities and disability, lifts and access. Planning has been submitted and it is hoped the first phase of these works can be completed for Autumn 2014.
Our Tercentenary Year has been an event to remember and I would like to say a special thank you to all our staff, parents/guardians, governors and pupils who are a credit to our school and, I write to you full of pride knowing what a unique and great place the Rainey is to work and study at.
I look forward to working with all staff, parents/guardians and governors on developing our school further as a beacon of 21st Century education. Your much needed support is greatly appreciated now and in the time to come.
