Rainey Asha Team 2016 #raineyasha

A team of twelve students and three members of staff from Rainey Endowed School will travel to India on Tuesday 25 October to visit New Delhi.
While there, the Team will be working in the Rainey Endowed Resource Centre in Kusumpur, one of Delhi’s slums.

 

 

The Resource Centre forms part of an educational programme funded by Asha, a Delhi-based charity founded by Dr Kiran Martin. During their visit, the Rainey team will be involved in painting the Centre and running craft and English teaching sessions for the children.

 

Members of the 2016 team are, Hannah Leacock, Andrew Hawe, Stuart Drennan, Amy Parke, Joshua Evans, Jessica McMillan, Alice Rowan, Sarah Henry, Caitlin McPeake, Cara Brown, Sarah Paul and Aimee Taylor, along with Mr Healy, Miss McCracken and Mr McDonnell.
