Rainey Rugby Saturday 19 January Rainey ES 1stXV 45 Bangor GS 1stXV 7. In a strong performance Rainey scored 7 tries. Bryan Hall scored 2 tries together with Bryn Davies, Joel Bell, David Dripps, Ross Speers and Sebastian Hastings. Harry Evans kicked 5 conversions.
In the Danske Bank 2nd XV Cup Round 2 Rainey faced the competition favourites Methody. The 2nd XV players put in an awesome performance eventually losing 33 0. In the Danske Bank Medallion Shield Round 3 Rainey showed brilliant character when they defeated Limavady GS 3 0. A super performance. Matthew Thom held his nerve a kick a penalty with the last kick of the game. In the other fixtures against Bangor GS the U14s missing a number of players who were in the Medallion squad lost 50 0.
